Mary-Ann Baldwin, a Raleigh City Councilor, serves as the lead of the Innovate Raleigh Initiative. She has more than 25 years experience in marketing and branding, and currently works for Holt Brothers Construction as director of marketing and business development. In her role as an elected official, she has worked on creating collaborative efforts to address youth violence and gang prevention, leading to the creation of Youth Thrives. She was a co-chair of the Raleigh Innovation Summit, which spurred Innovate Raleigh. “Innovate Raleigh is a catalyst for innovation. Our goal is to make our region one of the top five centers for innovation and entrepreneurship in the country. Through collaboration and communication, we can get the job done.”
