Mr. Harvey’s career spans more than 20 years and includes broad experience in business development, leadership and the management of complex commercial real estate transactions. He has served clients in diverse sectors to include technology, healthcare, biotechnology, telecommunications, service and manufacturing.
Guy began his commercial real estate career in 1989 with a regional, full-service firm that later became CB Richard Ellis. Guy’s accomplishments included the firm’s single-largest real estate transaction through his representation of A4 HealthSystems build-to-suit corporate headquarters. Under his direction he developed an extensive local, multi-site and national client base, which included Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPDI), Red Hat (RHAT), Global Knowledge Networks, Nationwide Insurance Company, Sears Roebuck, Oracle Corporation, International Paper and IKON Office Solutions.
In 2000, Guy became the founder of the commercial real estate firm Meta Partners. In 2004 his company was acquired by The Staubach Company (Roger Staubach). Guy successfully integrated the two organizations and continued to lead the Staubach office in Raleigh, North Carolina. In July of 2008, Jones Lang LaSalle acquired The Staubach Company and is now the Managing Director.
Guy is currently on the Executive Committee for the Inception Micro Angel Fund – RTP, designed to capitalize on the growth in entrepreneurial activity and venture financing, primarily in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina, greater North Carolina and in selective areas of Virginia and South Carolina.
