David Jackson

David is the founder of S2Jeans. After the devastating January 12 earthquake, David travelled to Haiti on a mission trip with the Hope for Haiti Foundation. Based on this experience, David gathered a group together to discuss how to help the victims of this earthquake. Since textiles are Haiti’s primary export, the idea for S2Jeans was born. His plan is to use quality materials, quality workmanship, and quality people to bring an excellent premium women’s jean to the marketplace with a higher purpose.

David is an Entrepreneurship Professor at Elon University and holds degrees in EE, Computer Information Systems, an MBA and an MIM. Previously, David founded Confidant, Inc., a cell phone based chronic disease management company. With no plans to retire, he is passionate about helping people help themselves.
