Chris Duke is a husband, a father, an entrepreneur, a technologist, a writer, a teacher, a
speaker – someone that is passionate about learning and always seeking to live life on
purpose. He is the co-founder of Anna’s Gourmet Goodies, an online retailer of gourmet
cookies and brownies serving customers throughout the United States and in military
bases around the world. Chris grew up in Louisville, KY and received his BA from
Kentucky Wesleyan College in Accounting and Management. He received his MBA
from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in 1987.
Chris founded two companies after leaving Duke, then went on to work in a variety
of roles for large technology services organizations. At his last venture in Corporate
America, he worked for SciQuest, an Internet startup where he held a record seven titles
in four years, by always saying, ‘yes, I can do that’. He left SciQuest in 2003 and has
been happily surrounded by butter, sugar, flour and a very supportive family for the past
8 years.
He currently operates two small Internet-based businesses including Anna’s Gourmet
Goodies and has at least a couple of more in the oven.
